Position- Medical Social Worker

Location- Beverly, MA, 01915

Shift- Day, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Length- 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours- 40 hours/week

Gross Weekly Pay- $2600/Weekly

Requirements:

• A master's degree in social work (MSW)
• Current Massachusetts Social Work licensure (LCSW/LICSW)
• A minimum of one-year related experience in a hospital environment and/or with transferable skills that apply to a fast-paced and high-urgency setting
• Ability to triage crises and collaborate/coordinate with collateral agencies
• Experience with protective services, child welfare, long term care, crisis intervention, chronic illness, hospice care, substance use disorders and psychiatric illnesses a plus
• Cannot have worked perm/travel for any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Working in collaboration with RN case management, the clinical team, and internal/external collaterals
• Responsible for performing psychosocial assessments, providing supportive counseling and care coordination with respect to discharge planning and service coordination for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and med/surg populations.
